DEHRA DUN, SEPTEMBER 8: A decision to rate the most corrupt bureaucrat of the state and also the performance of various state government departments by the NGO, Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra (RLEK), has created a flutter among Uttaranchal officials. The RLEK has decided to release the ratings, based on public perception, on November 9 — the fourth anniversary of the statehood celebrations of Uttaranchal. A similar survey had been conducted by the association of IAS officers of Uttar Pradesh. [more]
