Dehradun: Forest authorities of Uttaranchal have launched a special operation to protect wild animals from poachers during the monosoon season.
The ‘Operation Monsoon’ to nab poachers in the state will continue till October this year. During monsoon season, forests get closed for tourists which increases the risk of poachers entering the forests area.
