DEHRA DUN, July 16 — You have to hand it to this nation of ours ~ even skeletons aren’t safe here! The skeletons of Roopkund, one of the most enduring mysteries of the Himalayas, are continuously diminishing in numbers, thus occasioning grave concern among experts and locals alike. The skeletons ~ repositories of many stories and which could be found in their hundreds till a few years ago ~ may vanish in the years to come if immediate steps are not be taken for their preservation.
