Protesting against the aquittal of five accused in the Ramtiraha Muzaffarnagar episode by Muzaffarnagar court, various organisations today burnt the effigy of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and pelted stones at the Samajwadi Party office here today.
Members of Kaushalya Dabral Sangharsh Vahini pelted stones at the party’s local office. Prompt police action avoided further untoward incident.
