For the first time ever, a feature film is being made in Dehra Dun which will chronicle the struggle for the formation of a separate hill state, which finally came into being in November 2000. Titled Aaj Do, Abhi Do, the Garhwali film based on the historic Uttarakhand movement, is written and directed by Pradeep Bhandari.
