The Members of PAHAR and Survey of India cordially invite you to a book release function at 11 AM on Sunday 4 th February 2007 at the Nain Singh Auditorium, Geodatic and Research Wing, Survey of India, Survey Chowk near Parade Ground, Dehradun.
The 640 page book with rare maps, sketches, paintings and photographs titled as Asia Ki Peeth Per – Pundit Nain Singh Rawat: Jeewan Anwesan Tatha Lekhan (Pundit Nain Singh Rawat (1830-1895): Life, Explorations and Writings) by Uma Bhatt and Shekhar Pathak is published by PAHAR.
The book will be released by H.E. the Governor of Uttarakhand Shri Sudarshan Agrawal, the function will be chaired by Surveyor General Maj. Gen. M. Gopal Rao and the book and the authors will be introduced by Dr. R.S. Tolia, Chief Information Commissioner, Uttarakhand.
