Govind Singh Kunjwal, a Gandhian

Govind Singh Kunjwal, a Gandhian and sarvodaya worker, has become the fourth Speaker of the Uttarakhand Assembly. Born on May 25, 1945, and resident of Kunj village of the Jaiti area of Talla Salampatti of Almora district, Govind Singh was influenced by his elder brother Kedar Singh Kunjwal, who was a sarvodaya worker and Gandhian who had devoted his entire life at a Sarvodaya Ashram at Jaiti in Almora.
