[India News]: Dehra Dun, Nov 7 : A memorial in honour of the martyrs of the Uttarakhand statehood movement was today dedicated by Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari at Rampur Tiraha in Muzaffarnagar district, the scene of the October 2, 1994 massacre.
Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari said his government was determined to honour the family members of all those martyrs, who laid down their lives for the cause of the new state. [more]
