Dehra Dun, Dec 13 : Senior Congress leader and Union Minister Oscar Fernandes today assured Congress workers that the Central Goverment would consider bringing a bill in parliament to change the name of Uttaranchal to Uttarakhand The assurance came during Fernandes’ meeting with the Congress workers here in the backdrop of the growing demand from the party’s state unit to change the name of Uttaranchal keeping in mind the public sentiments.
